Pinecone Motel - Sussex

I had hope, but alas, the overflowing recycle bin near the ice machine was a sight for sore eyes. The internet was painfully weak-who knew we'd be living in the dark ages? After such inconveniences, a complimentary upgrade for my room woudl ve been the least they could do. Almost left a good review, but just couldn't.

a very scenic location, we would come there again. everything is fine here, had a very pleasant stay on a vacation. the breakfast is delicious, available with bagels and also home made waffles.

The venue is placed in a central position in Bay of Fundy.

The warm hospitality from the owners was lovely! The breakfast with homemade blueberry waffles was good. The only downside was that the pillows could use a bit of an upgrade 😊

There was a BBQ was available for use. Owners were really friendly, the rooms were clean, great experience. We were here for business, but we would definitely come back with family and check out NB. Noticed a Golf Shooting Range next door!

Very nice, quiet, peaceful place. I really like the grove of pine, spruce, and fir trees in front of the hotel. Staff was helpful and nice. I was well rested after our stay here.

The Pinecone Motel was a pleasant surprise! The owners welcomed us warmly, showcasing a lovely breakfast room filled with cheerful chatter and good aromas. I enjoyed the comfortable bed and clean facilities. The location offers a peaceful retreat with handy access to main attractions.

The furniture felt mismatched and slightly outdated. I would have appreciated a couple of extra amenities, like a hairdryer or ice machine, for a more complete experience.

Homemade muffins were a good breakfast surprise.

The location offered peace yet was close enough to access town facilities easily. Hosts were cute, showing us to our room, explaining how everything worked. The air conditioning kept the room cool, great. I appreciated the nice shower and cleanliness of the room. Breakfast included freshly baked muffins and scones, good. My only suggestion is to update the bedding. The pillows were a bit flat and uncomfortable.

Power went out at 7 AM. Nothing like a surprise early morning cold shower! The décor? Ah, vintage chic, if we're generous!

The breakfast was homemade and delicious, with plenty of options like eggs cooked to order. We also appreciated the cozy atmosphere during our two-night stay. Plus, it was only a 20-minute drive from Sussex Golf & Curling Club, perfect for a family outing!

My kids wished there were more outdoor play areas.
